The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has, effective 20 December 2018, become the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). The DIBP website is now on www.homeaffairs.gov.au. Their contact number remains as 131 881. The DHA is also welcoming feedback on the functionality of their website, so if you have 15 minutes to spare, take this test!
The establishment of the Department of Home Affairs Portfolio brings together Australia’s federal law enforcement, national and transport security, criminal justice, emergency management, multicultural affairs and immigration and border-related functions and agencies, working together to keep Australia safe.
