Orana has revised their skilled occupation list, which will be e ffective from 1 July 2017, and reviewed its application process. These affect applications for sponsorship of Skilled – Regional Sponsored (provisional) visas [subclass 489]. Visit the Orana migration site here to learn more.
South Australia has also made changes to its state nominated occupation list. This affects those applying for Skilled Nominated 190 visas [subclass 190]. View the new list here. It is important to look through the revised list carefully as some additional requirements on English ability and work experience have been altered for certain occupations.
South Australia will also be temporarily reducing the minimum score requirement for the “high points” category from 85 to 80. Once the allocated quotas for 80 point score entries have been reached, the 85 point minimum will return. Read more other that have been made here.
