The Xmas and New Year period is meant to be a time of celebration and good cheer but not so for many Australian Temporary residents living in NSW and hoping for a chance for the 190 visa State Sponsorship.

The hopes and dreams of many will be dashed with today’s news of major changes to the sponsorship requirements. For people who are outside of Australia NSW has opened its doors to sponsorship, so that will be good news for some.

Accountants, Chefs, Cooks, and most ICT occupations will now be required to demonstrate 3 years of work experience before they will be considered eligible to 190 NSW state sponsorship selection. This will crush the dreams of many who have moved to NSW recently hoping for a chance. The complete list is below who now require this 3 years experience;
